The Wedding of Britt and Jeff

Austin Museum of Art – Laguna Gloria
March 22, 2008

Britt and Jeff pride themselves on their unique sense of style and their playful irreverence. And it showed! We started off with a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. I LOVE this concept and the guests did too! The Jewish ceremony included a stunning chuppah with a very natural feel.
The food had a Caribbean flair and included Hawaiian Spare Ribs and Mango Blue Crab Cakes. The grill station included Salmon with Shitake Mushrooms and Miso Glaze.
The couple expressed their playful nature with some fun dessert options including an off-the-wall cake, two s’mores stations with mini-grill and homemade marshmallows, and Amy’s Ice Cream! At the end of the night, our team handed out Whataburger Cheeseburgers (to help these partiers soak up a little bit of the alcohol before heading home!). Lighting was the key design element for this wedding. Check out this tent with an array of different colored and different sized lanterns.

The Wedding of Sadie and Chad

Star Hill Ranch
March 15, 2008

Apple green bengaline linens with white and black accents set the stage for the beautiful wedding of Sadie and Chad at Star Hill Ranch. The quiet removed setting encouraged guests to relax and enjoy themselves. A string quartet created a memorable ceremony in the Fitzhugh building as guests read over the handmade green and white programs, which included a map of the grounds and town-like buildings. Upbeat mariachis greeted guests for cocktail hour outside. The three varying dinner centerpieces matched the three bridesmaid bouquets and groomsmen boutonnières. The reception included a greatband, delicious white and green cakes, and tables decorated with CD favors of the bride and groom’s favorite songs.

The Wedding of Alicia and Phil

Caswell House
March 1, 2008
The bride and groom chose yellow and red as their colors to signify the winter and spring, as they were married on March 1, 2008 at the Caswell House. The quaint downtown location was the perfect backdrop to make their decade long engagement official. Guests enjoyed the private, self-running photo booth - resulting in very relaxed and funny candid photos.

The groom’s family is Greek and the Greek take home almond candies helped incorporate their ancestry. Guests enjoyed chocolate cake, drinking and dancing, and held sparklers for the bride and groom’s exit before heading to the after party. Photobucket

The Wedding of Brooke and Nash

Austin Museum of Art - Laguna Gloria
March 1, 2008

Brooke and Nash were so much fun to work with and it showed in the execution of their wedding. This was a contemporary, elegant affair with a focus on food and drink. The black and white theme included black satin linens with a custom white sheer contemporary floral patterned overlay – stunning! We had a weather scare and executed our rain plan to be on the safe side. We put a big tent on the front lawn and it was like an intimate dinner party! The gorgeous linens, soft floral centerpieces and stunning patterned lighting created a wonderful ambience for dinner. And speaking of dinner – the menu for this wedding was beyond fun. The food stations included filet mignon sliders, panko-topped macaroni and cheese, and mini grilled pizzas. Hungry yet?
If you think that sounds delicious, just wait til you read about dessert. In addition to the to-die-for tres-leches wedding cake, the guests were treated to a crispy cream donut tower with a Dr. Pepper reduction drizzled over the top complete with vintage Dr. Pepper bottles holding up the entire display. We’re not done yet! As a late night treat, we had a Root Beer float station offered with the option of Bourbon shooters.
These guests were treated to a feast in a gorgeous setting celebrating the wedding of a fabulous couple!

The Wedding of Tiffany and Tim

Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
March 1, 2008

Tiffany and Tim were married on March 1, 2008 at the naturally
beautiful Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The ceremony was held in the courtyard at sunset. Beautiful jewel tones including deep reds, fuchsia orchids and slate blue hydrangeas surrounded the space along with candlelight everywhere your eyes could see.

As guests approached, the distinguishable sounds of the bagpipe welcomed each guest to the courtyard. The couple embraced Tim's Scottish heritage by using the colors of his family tartan as the inspiration for the color palette. And the fellas wore kilts. How Handsome!

Following a romantic ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in the library where Tim and Tiffany’s signature cocktail was served. The guests enjoyed dinner and dancing under the moonlight on a mild and warm March evening. Once the band started playing it was certainly party time. Tiffany and Tim ran away in the
moonlight with the Bride surprising the Groom with an antique Bentley.
